then there were three is the title track from our cd single it's basically a little story of how weave came to be. this song wasn't our first choice for our first single but the powers that be talked us into it with promises of air play on network radio stations, which in their defence did occur!

v1
it was my dream
to sing and dance and dance and sing
we wrote some songs
it was fun
we were getting good
playing all the notes we should
got a gig got a bit of money
things were cool

chorus
beaten by you all
I can't fight anymore
nothing to fight for nothing to lose
nothing to win
pain only pain and misery for me
but that's ok now things look better for you
please kick me again
I'm beginning to enjoy it

v2
people came and went
more times than I can remember
we laid down some groovy tracks
oh god they ruled
finally got ourselves sorted
it couldn't get any better than this
but I knew it was to good to be true
then it sucked

chorus

v3
then it all went wrong
but as the saying goes
one too many cook can spoil the broth
ooorrr something!
then there were three
good times good songs everybody's happy
so sit back and enjoy
things are cool

chorus

alt chorus
beaten by you all
I can't fight anymore
nothing to fight for nothing to lose
nothing to win
pain only pain and loneliness for you
but that's ok now things look better for me
I would kick you again
but you're beginning to enjoy it
