although the position of weave drummer was filled by andy in april 1997, we decided to keep this page on the site to both remind and amuse us!
weave require a drummer
interested? read on...
for those of you who know us, our previous drummer shaun has left
weave due to other commitments. we therefore require a good drummer fast! if your musical cv reads close to the following then mail us...
- must play very tight but not excessively technical
- must be prepared to sing harmony backing vocals
- must not be a long haired rock god type, weave are after all a pop band
- must have 210% commitment to the band, as it will take over your life
- own transport would be a bonus
- must not be a headcase or a rock star before his/her time
- must ALWAYS be totally honest to other band members
- anyone with big drug or drink habits need not apply
- age preferably between 16 and 24
- we would ideally like someone local as we are a bedford band and proud of it!
please pay careful attention to the above list as it may give you some idea as to why shaun is no longer with us!
...a female drummer would be particularly cool if there are any out there!?
